My Approach
I’m Shauni Cunningham, a Certified Mental Performance Consultant® (CMPC). I work one-on-one with athletes on the part of performance that physical training doesn’t cover, focus when it counts, confidence on a bad day, nerves before competition, and getting back on track after a mistake.
Sessions are 45 minutes, virtual, and built around the one thing you want to change. I’m based in Tulsa and work with athletes anywhere.

Individual Mental Performance Coaching
For athletes who know what they're capable of but can't always get there when it counts, whether that's nerves before competition or a tough stretch after a mistake. We'll work on whatever's actually getting in the way. 45 minutes, virtual.Team & Group Mental Performance Coaching
For teams, clubs and coaches. Shaped by what your group is dealing with, whether that's cohesion, communication, leadership, or handling pressure together. One hour, virtual.Behind the Approach
I start from what you already do well. Every athlete has something that works under pressure. We find it, name it, and look at how it can be adapted and used in different situations. That’s a more reliable foundation than working down a list of weaknesses.
My background sits across three fields: a master’s in sport and performance psychology, several years inside a football academy, a tennis academy and a school, and a yoga and Pilates practice. That last part matters more than it sounds. It means we can work on what your body is doing under pressure, not just what you’re thinking.
Mental performance coaching only works if we’re a good fit. Book a free initial consultation. We’ll talk through what’s going on, and you’ll know whether this is worth your time. No cost, no obligation.
